The two-time league MVP signed a four-year, $72 million contract extension in September with the Patriots that is the NFL's richest deal on an annual basis.
# 15 Lewis HAMILTON - GBR
The F1 driver has a lucrative deal with Reebok worth $4 million annually, but most of Hamilton's promotional rights are controlled by his race team, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes. Hamilton makes a cameo in the sequel to the movie Cars.
# 16 Derek JETER - USA
The Yankee captain signed a new contract in the off-season that is worth $51 million over three years. His $15 million salary this season represents a $6 million pay cut from what he earned in 2010.
# 17 Dale EARNHARDT Jr. - USA
Earnhardt has been voted Nascar's most popular driver eight straight years and his merchandise sales are tops in the sport. Junior has rebounded this year after finishing a disappointing 21st in the Sprint Cup standings in 2010.

Yao is one of the best centers in the game when healthy, but has missed all but five games the past two seasons due to injuries. Yao just finished the final year of his contract with the Rockets. Reebok is his biggest endorsements partner.

In April the Orlando Magic center became the first NBA player ever voted Defensive Player of the Year three straight years. Companies usually gravitate to NBA guards for endorsement deals, but Howard is one of the rare big men who's popular with Corporate America.

Wade agreed to take a reduced salary to accommodate Chris Bosh and LeBron James under the NBA's salary cap. Wade made $14.2 million during the 2010-11 season, $300,000 less than his new teammates.

Manning earned $15.8 million last season in the final year of the then-record $99 million contract he signed in 2004. Colts owner Jim Irsay has pledged to once again make Manning the highest-paid player in the NFL in his next contract.

Ichiro signed a five-year, $90 million contract with the Mariners that expires after the 2012 season. The 10-time All-Star is wildly popular in Japan, where his endorsement income rivals baseball's most marketable player, Derek Jeter.

Anthony inked a three-year, $65 million contract extension when he was traded to the Knicks from the Nuggets in February. After arriving in New York, he signed deals with Boost Mobile and Johnson Products, which caters to the black hair care market.

The $126 million contract Zito signed with the San Francisco Giants in December 2006 is the third-largest ever given to a pitcher. In addition to his $18.5 million salary last season, Zito also received a $318,000 check from the players' playoff pool when the Giants won the World Series.
